I'm sure all will be revealed at ProsperDays 2009! See 'ya there.

There'll be a PD09??
I wouldn't think it possible to even announce it - much less hold it - during a quiet period...?

Prosper needs to hire a new law firm (I wish whoever wrote that last one should go work for my competitor.)

Awesome Wink

IMO, it's obvious Prosper is in the process of shutting down. Probably trying to market the current loans and proven to be pushing loans to other places and getting referral $$$ for it. I think it was several months ago that I compared them to the Titanic crew rearranging the deck chairs with the blog BS they were trying to hide behind.

Every morning I open up Prosper.com and remove any money in there. It's been really nice with the lowered minimums Smiley

Thanks Fred, very impressive and probably more accurate than Prosper wants to admit.

I tend to think current Prosper is a quiet implementation (poorly, as always) of shadow-Prosper to service existing loans to completion, as outlined in their previous SEC filing.

For all intents and purposes, the lights are out.

ETA:  If there IS going to be a PD 2009 (pfft), not even a team of horny clydesdales could drag me off my chair in the front row at CL's "keynote" speech.

How about a free bucket of popcorn?

Prosper-branded popcorn would be an appropriate swag item for PD-09.

Incidentally, I estimate the likelihood of PD-09 occuring somewhere in the neighborhood of zero point zero percent.

Are you including the possibility that PD would not be in February?  It could pop up in October or November.
