I'm sure all will be revealed at ProsperDays 2009! See 'ya there. There'll be a PD09?? I wouldn't think it possible to even announce it - much less hold it - during a quiet period...? |

Prosper needs to hire a new law firm (I wish whoever wrote that last one should go work for my competitor.) Awesome  IMO, it's obvious Prosper is in the process of shutting down. Probably trying to market the current loans and proven to be pushing loans to other places and getting referral $$$ for it. I think it was several months ago that I compared them to the Titanic crew rearranging the deck chairs with the blog BS they were trying to hide behind. |

I tend to think current Prosper is a quiet implementation (poorly, as always) of shadow-Prosper to service existing loans to completion, as outlined in their previous SEC filing.
For all intents and purposes, the lights are out.
ETA: If there IS going to be a PD 2009 (pfft), not even a team of horny clydesdales could drag me off my chair in the front row at CL's "keynote" speech.

Incidentally, I estimate the likelihood of PD-09 occuring somewhere in the neighborhood of zero point zero percent.
