Giving money to the site will not grant you any privileges or provide any lobbying power. If you want to influence the site policies then just have good ideas and contribute to the discussion. Please don't drop money here and then expect to be treated like royalty.
Don't worry, we are not "going broke", please do not feel pressured or obligated to contribute. This page was added (believe it or not) by popular demand! Prospers.ORG is operated as a hobby project. All costs (apart from donations here) are paid for by ferrix's company, as sort of philanthropic gesture to the community.

$30/month for the web site (Forums, Wiki, and Blogs)
$14/month for the IRC server (can't be on the web server, due to terms of service conflict)
$15/year for domain registration
