Prosper would counter that the "demand" metric apparently had meaning to the people inquiring about it.  In my opinion (not Prosper's), taking the time trying to convince those people - in the form of rebuttals - that the metric is not really meaningful wouldn't be worth while.

Having said all that, I get your "ethical" point.  But I wouldn't lay this only at Prosper's feet.

Im a happy camper too! I have 16 more loans to extract. Ive taken enough losses only to have my remaining loans flushed. 14million ought to be enough to keep them going until I can exit. HAPPPY DAYYYY
