$25 transfer out minimum is gone

Really?  That's great -- now I can transfer out at least once a week, instead of waiting about 2 weeks for $25 to accumulate.  Sweet!  ;D

Yea!  I have now converted my daily $25 outbound transfers to daily $10 outbound transfers which are more likely to fire!

Well if you can't invest it, they can't hold your money.

There's a $50 bid minimum, so it was always the case that money in your account of less than $25 was just in limbo until more accumulated.  Not sure what the lending shut-down has to do with it, but happy nonetheless.  I just transfered about $21 out, and will probably start transfering out once a week.

I noticed the default changed. Mine used to read transfer TO Prosper from xxxxBank. Now it says transfer FROM Prosper to xxxxBank. They want us to get our money out, as fast as possible. I am obliging. I sure hope the old guard are still reading this board and following suit.

Somehow, I'm feeling new money is going to get caught in a really big mess. I still have about 10k at risk.

Is Prosper planning on bidding on some loans with its own money?  I find that hard to believe.

How much you wanna bet they check EVERY loan for scams when their money is on the line.

I actually hope that Prosper does fund some loans with its own money, because I would definitely like to know the percentage of those loans selected for verification, versus the usual percentage.

So, if I borrow from Prosper, Prosper goes bankrupt, and no-one is willing to service the loans, does that mean I can subtract the money they owe me from the money I owe them?

Not with Prosper.  Try LendingClub if you want a better shot at that.
