Minimum credit scores from individual borrowers will be 640.

640 was the bottom end of the "C" credit grade.  Goodbye to the old "D" and "HR".   Good move.

+1

Don't get too excited - many of the autoloans are way below 640 (yet are "rated" as higher  :-\ )

It's funny that this is all they can manage in 6 months of wriggling.

This is pitiful to say the least..

Used car notes? Come on.This has entered the realm of ultra shady.

ETA: I've never even heard of some of these cars

It should be interesting to see how bidding activity picks up in the near future.

How can we tell?

You know,I thought Prosper catered to the lowest level of humanity before, but I forgot all about the sub-level who pay 20% at a tote-the-note place.

Business Wire article: Prosper Expands P2P Loans Marketplace in Response to Credit Crisis

Expanding by losing 49 states..Thats funny

And having "credit scores" that really don't correlate to anything.

I am wondering if non-California residents will be able to, "Trade Notes on The Trading Platform"? It is not active yet, but I may be interested in selling some of mine.

I noticed:

1:  14 days allowed for a listing to run.
2:  Credit score of at least 640 required to run a listing.

I hope this info on all the loans is still gonna be out there.

ETA: NM,i found it.It's hidden on a very small "here" button at the bottom

http://www.prosper.com/invest/performance.aspx

Also "View Full Performance Data" in the upper-right.
