Monthly Statement missing?
« on: May 26, 2009, 06:09:30 am »

I haven't been paying that much attention. This might have been discussed elsewhere. Has anyone else not received their April statement? I sent this msg to customer service this morning:

"I have not received my April 2009 monthly statement. The latest statement I received was for March 2009 dated 4/11/09. Please advise status of monthly statement."

March's statement arrival before mid-month (April 12) was surprisingly prompt, relative to Prosper's snails pace on these. Allowing for their usual sloth >irregular tardiness, I'd still expect to have seen the April report by now. edit Oak-Hill's post (below) prompted me to check my own facts. They are always the very last 'brokerage house' to report but they did manage to produce my document by the 15th (a somewhat reasonable time frame) 5 of the last 9 tries....

04/12/2009 - Lender Statement, March 2009
03/15/2009 - Lender Statement, February 2009
02/19/2009 - Lender Statement, January 2009

01/21/2009 - Lender Statement, December 2008
12/15/2008 - Lender Statement, November 2008
11/24/2008 - Lender Statement, October 2008

10/19/2008 - Lender Statement, September 2008
09/15/2008 - Lender Statement, August 2008
08/13/2008 - Lender Statement, July 2008

Comparing to Oak Hill, I see they do not produce all lender statements the same day.

Prosper probably came to the (belated) realization that under the terms of their self-imposed "quiet period" they should not be sending out Lenders' Statements.

I guess they've been too busy being "quiet" to send a message to lenders investors with active notes in their account

FYI, while I didn't get a lender's statement for April, I got a borrower's statement for April. Once again, borrowers are treated better than lenders.  :ninja:

Perhaps they should wait to re-open until they can learn to master the basics.
