Godfather is correct - they deactivated all old portfolio plans and saved searches and added an option to convert them one at a time to the new Prosper Ratings system instead of the old Credit Grade.

If I were CL I would have tried to reactivate the plans and get them to fire BEFORE I let the users back into the system---you know, just to get a fresh "injection" of capital going in the new Prosper.   :ninja:

Some Lender success stories:
Click on the links and look at the value of the defaults:

http://www.ericscc.com/lenders/Fred93

http://www.ericscc.com/lenders/pensioner

http://www.ericscc.com/lenders/carrey79

http://www.ericscc.com/lenders/Shark

Fred93 was the only one of these four lenders who used his brain while lending. Note that his ROI is positive, though small.

We used to wonder WTF the other three thought they were doing.

While Fred is only at 2% or so, considering the stock market returns over the last 2-3 years, in reality, he's probably doing better then that (once you account for opportunity costs)

As predicted here on .ORG, Prosper deleted S*****'s smashing success story, which included the links to her defunct spectacular spa business she splurged spent her Prosper Proceeds on.

If you'd like to see the original Prosper Propaganda that was oh-so inconveniently poofed from Prosper's pages, check the Registered section.

We knew Prosper was going to delete it, so we saved backups.    We never forget.     MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA   :D

Well, that is Prosper's modus operandi... when a problem pops up, don't address it, don't make any changes so it won't happen again, don't do anything at all  -- but brush it under the carpet so others can't see it at first glance.

The carpet is looking mighty lumpy by now, though.

Here's how the "success story" looked this afternoon:

It isn't even the first time THIS WEEK that Prosper poofed things that aren't 100% complimentary... they changed the front page so there is no longer a link to the Wikipedia article about Prosper.com: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prosper_Marketplace

And they poofed the link to Yelp: http://www.yelp.com/biz/prosper-marketplace-inc-san-francisco

If you don't want to register, here's how you can find the page Prosper deleted, for now.

Go to Google and search for "Prosper Success Story".   Look for the prosper.com links until you find HERs... and look at the cached version in Google Cache.

C'mon guys, you're slipping.  :) There's more...
Borrower bulldogone was another success story that's been poofed (but I don't know when).  The story WAS here:
http://www.prosper.com/prm/stories/009.prosper_has_helped_me_get_my_life_back_together_again.htm

(But see it here.)

His loan defaulted on Dec 29, 2008
