What says you, pacino58? Care to have this thread moved to The Lobby?

The time I got a warning and my member page was wiped, I emailed someone at Prosper who a few days earlier offered his services as a personal representative at Prosper, asking why the actions when I was in 100% compliance with their written policies. Other than Prosper spam and notification of available statements, that was the last communication I have had with them.

I haven't transferred any money to Prosper since then, either.

For me, there was no warning or notification when I was suspended.  I also don't believe I violated any of Prosper's stated rules to trigger the suspension.

Just one morning...there it was.

Welcome to the club.   

For kicks, you should call them up and ask them exactly what provision of the content policy your listing supposedly violated.

I "reported" the cancelled listing, asking what part of the content policy was violated.  Will report any communication, but am not holding my breath.

I am fine with moving to the lobby and have quoted the majority of wording from my listing.

The purpose of this loan is to get the Prosper $100 bonus. As a lender/borrower on Prosper, I lost money and I might as well get something out of this relationship besides some more defaults that I will likely get from my loan portfolio in the future. I did have a previous loan, was late once because of a Prosper error and the loan has been paid off.

This loan will be paid back shortly after it gets distributed. I am choosing the minimum amount and I just want to get the bonus offered by Prosper.

Again, this loan will be paid back in a short time period,

I got the idea to go for the posting after Prosper emailed saying that you could earn a $100 bonus for listing and funding the loan by December 31st.

I was actually surprised that I got suspended for it too, but at the same time because of their problems that are coming sooner and sooner, they may not want to deal with any type of non-cheerleader behavior.  I haven't bid on anything for quite awhile and do not plan to either.  I believe it is just way too risky and Prosper has an increasing number of issues that they want to hide and not be forthcoming about.

No warning for me either before my banning (despite the fact that I had posted a number of times on Prosper's own forum about exactly what I was doing, and never heard a peep from Prosper that they considered it improper).  Never did get a straight answer from them what specific policy I violated (actually there was none).

that is more honest then sending a canned email referring to some vague violation that was selected as the closest thing they could use to boot you off

I got a warning when they went on thier rave about having references to this web site on theirs. I immediately wiped everthing off my member page. I sent them an email telling them they had no further reason to threaten me and that i would not place anything else on their site. All I do now is log on, check my account and withdraw any money I can.

I told them then I would never use my member page again for any reason - even if they don't keep their word I will keep mine. I prefer to put anything new over here in the home of the free.

Prosper has cancelled 2 of my listings (and suspended me both times) for very similar reasons, but I was more inflammatory than you were. Both times are fully detailed her on .org.
