The various methods of computing ROI should be of interest to every investor.
While I can see the argument, this thread is in no way news about the platform itself and the people that have posted their information here may not want it googleable.
I think this thread IS Lobby-worthy -- the comparison of different ways of looking at lender performance is clearly appropriate for the Lobby IMHO. The Googleability issue is a closer call in my view. Personal information makes a thread non-appropriate for the Lobby, and that has always been the "rule." Here, though, the "personal" information isn't especially personal -- simply the ROI of various lenders calculated in different ways. Since many of those ways (Erics', Lendstats) are already publicly available, and only the XIRR calculation isn't, I don't really see a significant privacy issue here. On balance, I think this thread is appropriate for the Lobby, but the mods should wait a while to see if others express a contrary view.
