Correct me if I am wrong, but the plaintiffs mentioned are only the lead plaintiffs that get additional compensation for being lead. The rest of us will get something or nothing, but we will be the only ones to know. Right?

Supposedly, someone was told by the people that run ProsperClassAction.com that the first checks are supposed to arrive "by the end of summer".

i'm not sure if any money has even been paid yet and have always assumed after the lawyer fees are finished being awarded there will be $0.00 left for us :-/

I don't think so.  I sent an email to the address on the web site, and got a reply that said they were planning to send checks by the end of summer.  They didn't say what year

You are wise.  I just got a check for an unrelated investment loss that involved IMHO fraud and negligence and (I'm hunting for kind words).  Five years after the event, a check from the class action suit has arrived, and it is for 0.0028 x my loss.   I think I'll go cash it this afternoon.

I'm pretty sure that's exactly what they said (and which was posted here) a month or so ago.  And since it is not even remotely the end of summer yet, I'm not sure why you are getting your panties in a wad.  If no checks are received in another month and a half or so, then that will be plenty of time to raise questions.  Until then, not so much. 

As for your other class action settlement, it is certainly true that some class action settlements provide little of value to the class (although judges have been starting to crack down on that the last couple of years). But this isn't like that.  IMHO, the class attorneys and the class representatives did an excellent job achieving a result considerably better than most class settlements.
