Could be the profile, looks like they missed him the first time around. It's been deleted, but lendingstats hasn't updated yet:

Maybe that's it...

Epic, did you add the .org reference to your .com profile after Prosper removed it?

Prosper missed me.  They lifted my suspension a day early.

Maybe it's a mistake?

The same "mistake" that deleted his account from the old .com forums before they were removed?

I thought that mistake is on maternity leave?

He said his profile hasn't changed in nearly two years... if he changed his profile after the deletion, then it would have changed quite recently, no?

No surprise to me.

We know JW googles himself, searches for his name.

Look here: http://www.prospers.org/forum/know_your_audience_john_witchel_shares_how_he_raised_money_for_red_goril-t4974.0.html;msg70713#msg70713

A surprise the topic starter is also suspended?

 ;D

lol, no they hate me for more than that if indeed someone was upset by this. just ask my lawyer

Which time zones?

It hasn't been the first time that someone at Prosper Marketplace, Inc. was up at 11pm Pacific Time. In fact, it is a rather regular occurrence (witness the maintenance times). 11pm Pacific would be 2am Eastern.

I caught Andrew working in the middle of a Saturday night on a holiday weekend once.  I did write to him and ask, "WTF?"

He said his profile hasn't changed in nearly two years... if he changed his profile after the deletion, then it would have changed quite recently, no?

That would suggest that Prosper missed the .org reference in its original search because of the dollar sign, then, when it discovered it this morning, assumed that he had added it back after the original mass deletion.

I think this is probably the correct explanation (although trying to figure out anything Prosper does is fraught with doubt).  The person who was suspended yesterday due to their profile (was it ratchetr?) also had the dollar sign in his/her profile's .org reference, so perhaps it was a coincidence that his/her suspension came 75 minutes after being posted about here.  Or, maybe, someone who read the thread here reported the profile, which made Prosper realize that their previous script hadn't caught the $ references, so they whipped up a new one catching Epic last night or early this morning.

The email that 112233 and I got both contained this explanation:

Your account has been suspended for repeated policy violations related to your member page.

The email Epic posted doesn't contain any explanation. Maybe *Existing* is sufficient grounds for being banned?

I want to know what epic has done to attract this sort of attention.  I mean, he's on record for not recommending this site as a serious investment, but who here isn't?  Shira "messing" with his account on .com, and now this?
