Maine and Massachusetts?

BTW, how many entries am I allowed?

How many pairs of states are there?

BTW, we already have a winner, but I thought I'd keep the game going a bit longer.   :ninja:

Do they have to be states?  :D

Yep.  That ruled out Armed Forces Pacific and Armed Forces Europe, as well as District of Columbia.

Alaska & Arkansas?

You expect anyone on this forum to believe that Arkansas has a perfect payment record?   ;D

No one on this forum would believe it, but it's true.  There are no late or defaulted loans in Arkansas.

None in Alaska either.

I live there, so I'd like to think it will stay that way.  However, I remembered seeing this one fund-- http://www.prosper.com/lend/listing.aspx?listingID=217471 not long ago.

I doubt this one will go 36 months to maintain that perfect record.  Though I could be wrong.

ETA:  HO, if this isn't appropriate for the public forums, feel free to poof it.

My first thought too, but he expressed it as "in which Prosper has originated loans".

Correct.  Rhode Island and South Dakota share Nevada's claim to zero-loan perfection.

[No peeking at third-party sites, API, etc, allowed.]

There are two states in which Prosper has originated loans where all of the loans are current (by LendingStats definition, which I assume means no more than 15 days late) or paid in full.  Name them.

(HINT:  Both states start with the same letter.)

I see the answer, but now, out morbid curiousity, how many loan orginated in each state?

Alaska 19 loans  (16% rate cap)
Arkansas 25 loans (9.75% APR rate cap)

ETA:  Low rate caps are not a guarantee of repayment success.  The state with the highest delinquency rate (27.04%) is Pennsylvania, with 21 loans and a 6% rate cap.  (Somehow, I suspect Muleshoes played a major role in  making that statistic possible.)

I've seen comments about the Confederate States, but, as well as the perfect record of Arkansas, Tennessee's delinquency rate is less than 10% (5 of 51) and South Carolina has only four delinquent Prosper loans out of 46.

Of course, SC is rate capped at 12% and TN is capped at 10.5%.

Texas, Alabama, and Georgia are among the ten highest-delinquency states.

Well, Texas sucks. We all know that now. We also know that Pennsylvania, a Yankee state, has the highest delinquency rate. So, what are the other six of the ten highest delinquency states?
