Who is going to PD ... what type of members?

HO's poll about new features got me thinking ... what type of members are going to PD08?   

I mean, it isn't going to be a room full of borrowers.  You borrow one or two loans and you are done.   The only real repeat customers they have are lenders. 

I think they are even more shortsighted than we realized.

The audience for PD is lenders.


Who should attend Prosper Days?
Prosper Days education and programming is primarily geared toward all Prosper Lenders. However, all members of the Prosper community and interested parties are encouraged to attend.

Call me cynical, but I rather doubt that many Prospers.org members are going to make it to San Francisco, and I expect most of those who do will suddenly find the boat to Alcatraz much more appealing than the scheduled events.  That will leave Prosper with an audience of bright-eyed newbies excited by the prospect of borrowing at 12% to lend at 15%.

hijack here ... can someone save my sight and just tell me what the BME Pain Olympics video is?  I made the silly mistake of clicking on the 2girls1cup video once and couldn't click it off fast enough!

<shaking head> ... I just don't get it, a) how anyone can do that and b) how anyone can pass that type of video on to someone else.  Thank you cowdog for the info.  You definitely spared me.
