last year I set up a weekly outbound transfer of $50 so I dont have to login and withdraw my money manually. If the balance was <$50 during an automatic transfer, the transfer would "fail" and continue to try on a weekly basis.

Now, it appears as if the weekly transfer is being canceled instead of "failing" resulting in no further weekly transfer attempts unless I login and create another one.

What's the deal? Im trying to get my money out of Prosper as fast as possible so I can lend at some better p2p lending companies. Are they trying to make this difficult?

I wouldn't put it past them.  However, I am not seeing the same thing that you are.  I have $25 transfers scheduled for every day of the week and mine continue to say Failed (haven't seen any Canceled) whenever I don't have enough in my account and they continue to attempt the transfer every time.

here is a screen shot. notice the status of the transfers on 1/8 and 1/22. the transfer on 1/15 is where I recreated the weekly transfer. Today, I recreated it again.

Wow.  I would call them up and ask them who is canceling your scheduled transfers and why they would do that.

I have not had good luck with their customer service. The last few times I tried asking them a question, they gave me a canned response that didnt help me at all. When I tried asking for more information, they just ignored me.

I am little worried this might be a bug in their software. Not good to have bugs in the area dealing with your cash and bank accounts!

OK, I just did a manual transfer and it took less than a minute. Folks, don't trust P-----r to do ANYTHING right. Do it yourself. I know it's more convenient for it to be done automatically but P-----r has shown time and time and time again that they just plain don't care.

Plus when you transfer out manually you get to see the available amount you can transfer INTO P------r immediately go down - that's a nice incentive

Everyone is suspended, but some people are more suspended than others.
