After wrassling with blogger for most of the day, I found a better-than-nothing workaround.

Anyway, long post, but shows some late data based on Prosper's "Select Index". Not nearly as scary as Prosper's total loan portfolio performance (but a pain in the ass to put together).

Nice job LC.  From your chart it looks like the "select index" loans are going bad at about 6%/year.

Thanks. Without the test loans in the mix, it's hard to know exactly.

Plus it depends where exactly you look at the chart. (month "10" on the last chart is the 1 year point). I would say around 5% / yr...  ;D

Anyway, I was surprised. Many months did not show any lates for several months. What would the default rate / year be for all Prosper loans that are not "Index" loans?  :o
