xraider, I'm sure it's mentioned in this month's quarterly update from Doug Fuller.

You mean this one?

Zcommodore, thank you so much for posting this link. Finally some news! Thanks.

Thanks for the update, Doug.  I tried to thank you on the blog but the security feature wasn't working.

I wish I knew whose loans they were collecting on.

Of the 15 I have 4+ months late (I have 21 4+ late but 5 are BK and one wrote a C&D) I've had one collected for $2.63, just a tad over 1 month's payment. Of my 8 3 month lates I've had one collection of $2.09 which is less than a monthly payment. Nothing collected from my 4 2 month lates (I have 5 but one is in BK).

Mine!  ;D  Of 2 4+ month lates, AmSher collected a payment on one of them (a bit more than a monthly payment).  The other one is an obvious fraud who didn't make one payment, so no collection agency is going to collect on that (but a lawsuit sure might, hint, hint).  And one of my loans that alternated between 2 and 3 months late has made two half-payments recently.

Yeah, maybe they are giving Amsher some time to try and get some of the 4+ loans current.

If you read the blog post I linked above, they're doing just that.

Z.C...thank-you for posting that link....

According to the % stats, AmSher is servicing 1653 loans for Prosper and has managed to bring only 92 of them current.

On Lendingstats the %'s of late loans show:

1.58% 1 month late -- fresh meat, still wiggling a bit
1.31% 2 months late -- was fresh meat when AmSher took over
1.40% 3 months late -- lying around Penncro for a month, but still edible
4.66% 4+ months late -- at Penncro for 2+ months or more: throw it out

So this breaks down to about half (48%) of what was handed to AmSher was reasonably fresh and the other 52% was stale turnips.

If we assume that AmSher got NOTHING from the stale lates, then out of the 793 fresh lates, AmSher has still brought only 11.6% current.

FirstSource, by comparison, has brought 19 out of 101--18.8% current.

Not really a fair comparison, though, when you consider that 2/3 of one agency's lates were E-HR loans and not high quality ones.

Except...that it's FirstSource that's the one dealing with predominantly E-HR borrowers!

FirstSource is getting better collections results from inferior credit borrowers and charging lenders less money to do it.

Z - thanks from me also for pointing out the DF blog link.

I was looking through statements tonight to see if Prosper had yet done any followthrough on their promise to provide monthly updates regarding NAT loans.

I have a loan that is 8+ months late.  For whatever reason, it wasn't sold in December.  When is the next debt sale?

Prosper folk, I know you read here.  Please update somewhere!

Thanks!

I received an email reply from Prosper that stated a Debt Sale should be expected in late 04/2008.

Anyone remember the exact date of the last sale?

From someone who complains that MsAva doesn't know how to use Google?  You know Bama, you ask your share of dumb questions too.  The answer was as easy as doing a search for "debt sale" right here on these forums.
