Another improvement  ??? in the latest update  ::)

I've viewed a number of pictures accompanying listings in the last 2 days. None have captions, NONE. While not unknown usually you would find a few with the usual "Replace this picture..." I'm going to miss the captions...they contained a wealth of humor as well as valuable info. Eg: the guy whose caption stated he was vacationing in S Dakota while the monument behind him celebrated California's entry into the union. I decided that if he was unable to ID the state he was in then I was in no state to bid on his loan.

RIP 1 more piece of info for lenders

Of course, that loan request was made before the upgrade.  I'll see if I can find a listing made today or yesterday that has a caption...

ETA:  Ugh, you're right, I've checked lots of post update listings and not a caption to be had...  Someone who cares should ask on the .com board why the heck they can't do an upgrade without taking something away as well as adding?

If Prosper wants to foster a sense of community, removing the borrower's ability to explain what they're wanting to show us wouldn't be the way I'd go.

ETA: well, they could explain in the listing I suppose.
Or we could just ask "What's in the picture" in their Q&As.

I recognized Col. North from the 2nd listing. Both of these listings had recent prior listings. Try to find one that is a truly "new" listing. I still haven't found one with a caption (although I haven't been looking that hard).

I just tried to make a new listing. It would only let me use one picture, and it didn't give me a chance to put in a caption.
