You think posting it here or sending an email is gonna get you any answers?
Yes She does! He (DoFu) Knows she's an attorney. He knows she's a determined individual and he knows several us are unhappy. As you know We didn't come here (Prosper Marketplace, Inc.) to lose money, or to be cheated out of Our money. although He may not answer here, he may write about it in their Blog. Is that so hard for you to understand? Duh

Did Doug, xraider, and the rest of Us get elevated to deities?
Yes!

A deity is a postulated preternatural or supernatural being, who is always of significant power, worshipped, thought holy, divine, or sacred, held in high regard, or respected by human beings

You have been drinking [edited] beer again haven't you?

If you think it, you can do it. Are any of those late borrowers here in South Florida. Lightnin' season starts in two weeks, Who knows you may get Lucky.  ;)

Thank you , Xraider.  I'm still procrastinating about what I want to do, but I'm getting closer to discussing PMI with an attorney.  I made some piss-poor choices in my loans and expect to get very little money back.  But not being an attorney, I'm just not smart enough to accept much at all of what P-----r tells me, particularly about not selling loans and not pursuing collections anywhere but California. They've had a Doctor of Collections on board for about 240 days, and the guy has accomplished exactly nothing as far as I can tell.  I'm quite willing to "throw away" what I've given to borrowers and several dollars more to beat on PMI.

ETA:  No intention to reflect on attorneys  --  I'm probably gonna get another one soon.

if prosper gets a bk notification, prosper gets to ignore the loan. they neither default it nor "waste" resources trying to collect on it. it just gets buried. why would they ruin an awesome deal like that by verifying these notices?

You don't want to do that, they'd be claiming disability, then you'd never get paid.

If you're going for wrathful vengeance, I recommend the taking of the firstborn.

Because as proven by our borrowers, bad credit isn't heriditary.   :ninja:

I thought DF was pretty good at setting expectations early on: his first priority is collections.  Further down on his list are the quarterly reports.  Anything more - and perhaps this is in the category of "no deed goes unpunished" - is likely to be mistaken for some precedent.

X,

PMI has never responded to complains, questions, or even suggestions. They.just.do.not.care.

Many of us are well aware of this, having more than a few months or even a year's experience watching their bumbling, incompetent actions.

Quite frankly, I feel you are being naive in expecting an answer, or even an acknowledgment of your existence from PMI.

Loan 7107 is late, and says it is in bankruptcy.  What chapter?

Noticed something in Andrew's post about the recent upgrade.  He wrote...

As of this release, we’re automating more of our bankruptcy tracking to set the stage for us to be able to start giving lenders the bankruptcy chapter number and filing date in the future.
