Prosper's Lender Services desk filters emails from lenders into the "junk basket?"

Suddenly everything is starting to make sense.

That's rich - even by Prosper's low standards.

Well, I personally think the junk mail folder was a lie.

I think that once he was on the phone and confronted with it, he no longer felt comfortable with denying he received the email, and so invented the old excuse of the junk mail filter.

No way to prove it, but this thought is actually attributing greater moral and competency standards to him than believing he was simply an idiot and never looked in the junk mail folder for important emails. SOP when there is a junk mail folder is to look regularly and see that emails didn't get placed there by accident.

SOP when there is a junk mail folder is to look regularly and see that emails didn't get placed there by accident.

I don't.  I simply get too much junk mail to do that.

You're not running a financial business where it's already been proven that you have a trouble with your email system. Weren't "report" emails on .com going to the "junk folder" at some point too?

Sadly, once again, they are either 1. totally inept at running a financial business (or any business) or 2. liars.  :-\

It's standard practice for anyone whose job is or includes customer service.  After all, you don't want to risk emails from your customers getting lost in there  :ninja:

E-mails sent through Prosper's own report and customer service pages were bouncing as undeliverable for several days at one point.

..but this was an e-mail from a lender, not a customer. :ninja:

Maybe I'm dense, but Prosper has its members' e-mail addresses. Wouldn't it make sense to automatically add your members to a whitelist, just so the "junk mail filter" thing doesn't happen?

There's the problem right there -- Prosper has no sense.  If it did, it wouldn't do half the things it did.

Federal Court Bankruptcy filings on an online service called Pacer. My friend read
About this loans bankruptcy filing and discovered the following:
The borrower is claiming that he never took this loan out from Prosper. He claims that
It was ID-Theft by his soon to be ex-wife. He claims He had no knowledge of and never requested this loan.

I believe that if we (Lenders on this loan) make prosper aware of this
They will repurchase this fraudulent loan via their ID-theft repurchase guarantee.
Please send an e-mail to support@prosper.com and to Brian Maas, Manager of Lender
Services at bmaas@prosper.com and request that this loan be repurchased under their
ID-theft repurchase guarantee. If you would like to see a pdf  file of the Federal court
Filing so that you can see for yourself I suggest you send me an e-mail to:
David33066@hotmail.com and put in the subject line: Prosper-Federal Court pleading.
