Dick Feynman called on the spirit phone.  He said "Tell that guy his exploit doesn't scale" - and then I heard bongos, before the line died.

Not looking to scale or exploit, just get Prosper's ear.

You write for them and yet they won't listen to you? You brought this up and they ignored you? The more things change, the more they stay the same.

However, at least admit that the purchasing of endorsements is an issue.

Reread this thread.  I don't think a single person has disagreed that there are ways to game the endorsement system.  The issue people have is with the way you are addressing it.

My thought here is that it's probably not worth spending time quibbling with my writing style vs. the larger issue (ways to game the endorsement system) that has been largely ignored in this thread.  Though I'm quite flattered that you all care about my writing style so much.

More food for thought from an assistant professor of Economics... "this subject would make an excellent theoretical economics paper."

See, other educated people see the point that is being missed here.  You may disagree with the satire that I chose to get the issue out in the open.  Maybe I'm not a good writer, I can live with that.  However, at least admit that the purchasing of endorsements is an issue.

Even nonattender said that it can be used to re-invent group leader awards.

Just got a call from Milt Friedman.  (I heard Maynard Keynes, smiling in the background, audibly.)

Apparently, they heard from Feynman earlier today about this, you know, at "the club", and said:

"As a general rule, when an economist exclaims 'this would make an excellent paper!' - it doesn't."

I told Milt that that would make an excellent paper, JMK laughed, and M hung up the spirit phone.

So, Let me get this straight.

You say give me money I'll endorse you. I will even bid on you.

Borrower gives you X amount (Minimum of $50+50%? So $75 correct?) to endorse that borrowers Loans. You Bid X amount (Minimum bid at $50 of course.) Pocketing 50% over the bid.
If Borrower gave you enough for a larger bid, the borrow looks even better on the loan becuase he has someone endorsing him at a higher amount. Borrow has a MUCH better chance of getting loan.
3 years later you give borrower back X amount.

So for a few words typed into prosper. (This PERSON! IS! THE! ULTIMATE! (Nah lets use: PENULTIMATE!) A CLOSE PERSONAL WHOSITS FINANCIAL WIZARD EVER!)

You either get 50% of the bid amount in cash, plus any possible interest before Borrower defaults.
Or you gives borrow back X amount and pocket the interest paid plus you get a 50% cash,.

WOW, nice scam; You may be "testing" the waters but someone will either take you up on this and you will jump at it. Or they will decide hey I can get another grifter in the backside for cheaper and we can play doubles, trips or even get a gold ring going. No to low risk since you cannot be held liable for the defaulted loan and even come out further ahead if it does not default. No direct sluff to go after you, since you are not legally liable for the loan. Yes, definetly a Scammers dream. So got any land in Nigeria? Kings in your family former financial bigwig escaping country but oh wait he died before he could transfer his money out, need someone here for the wire transfer?

Oh wait your just trying to show the system as flawed.....
