"we talk" lol

BTW, does anyone expect this guy to be around in 3 years to pay back the endorsement?

I've been around for the last 2+ years.  Do you think my grand plan is to write two years of posts on this (and my health website) so that I can run away with $25?  Seriously?!?!
your goal is to make $25 total with this enterprise?

$25 no.

But if you only wanted $25, you'd only endorse one person.

You might do it for $25 x 1000 in your fantasies.

Or $25 x 100...

Or even $25 x 10...  Who knows how much you're trying to squeeze out of bloogging?  RateLadder somehow thinks blogging makes him both a millionaire and an intellect, haha...

No, seriously, you're really not defending your post, are you?

It obviously was a well-meaning mistake.  But even you have to admit, it was a mistake...

...right?

No,you could send him $1500 & he would bid $1000 with an endorsement.

You may be breaking the law by offering loan products without a license.Illegally charging interest.Charging excessive interest.

Calling it a loan product is a stretch, I think

What interest am I charging?  It would be a service fee for a service of value rendered.

The LRA is plain as day on this topic.  What you are doing violates your lender agreement with Prosper.

Quote from: Prosper Lender Registration Agreement
13. Prohibited Activities. You agree that you will not do the following, in connection with any listings, bids, loans or other transactions involving or potentially involving Prosper:

. . .

b.Charge, or attempt to charge, any Prosper borrower any fee in exchange for your agreement to bid on a borrower's listing, or propose or agree to accept any fee, bonus, additional interest, kickback, or thing of value of any kind, in exchange for your agreement to bid on a borrower's listing;

Hate to rain on your parade, but any comment on the TOS you are recommending breaking to the entire Prosper readership?  The one about no fees, no kickbacks, etc.?

ever pay someone to give you a letter of recommendation for a new job? how do you think a new employer would react if they knew?

how do you think lenders bidding on paid-endorsement listings would react if they knew?

Thank you!  Perhaps you are finally getting it.  I'm trying to stop this from happening and the only way to do so, is to bring it to the forefront.  That was my point at the end when I said, "Innovation occurs when a potential problem is exposed."

and why mess around with $75? crap, Ill go get a payday loan to front a really huge endorsement ..

(enough, dont make this a CB thread)

anyway, the whole thing doesnt make sense, ethics aside for a moment

It sure looks like it.   Do you really not see just how sleazy your offer appears?

Yes it was my intention for it to be as sleazy as possible to get Prosper's attention.

Is there a way to see all the endorsements made by a Prosper member?

If there's not, then perhaps I solved an issue.  If Prosper is going to hold these endorsements as being of value, we should be able to look at people's endorsement history.

Well why didn't you say so in the first place...?

Because it sure looks like you're making an offer...

Then why did you argue when we pointed out it was against TOS?  That's what I'm not getting.  Either you think it's wrong or it isn't.  TOS covers it already.
