This may have already been mentioned, maybe it hasn't...

Anyone thinking maybe they replaced Witchel in the executive positions with a fall-guy for when the FTC starts investigating after Prosper goes bankrupt?

If this new guy is a complete dunce, he'll make a great cover for why the company tanked....

Total ignorance is also a really good reason to keep saying he doesn't have a clue instead of giving informative answers . . .

Good call.

Assuming an investigation takes place, I dont think that would be easy to do. .. that is, blame this person for the past

Not easy, but not impossible, either.

If they destroy enough records and falsify enough archive documents, they can pull it off - that is, unless a certain group of disgruntled former customers passes archived data along to those doing the investigating... :ninja:

That's the thing about the internet . . . you just can't count on Nixon's paper shredders to do their job anymore.  *sigh*  Times change.

Are we sure that Kirk Inglis is Notorious_K?  If so, then Prosper's CFO is late on his loan??!?!??   ???  :o

I just found the proof:

From Prosper Days 2008, Kirk Inglis admits that he is Heavy_Ax.
http://www.prospers.org/forum/live_reporting_from_pd08_in_irc-t5898.0.html;msg86032#msg86032

From Notorious_K's Prosper profile, the old screen name is Heavy_Ax.
http://www.prosper.com/groups/member_screen_names.aspx?alt_key=8F113370067943985374F16

Interesting ... from that member page screen name change history:

Not a good sign.

Besides, given the wreckage that Trump has made of the GOP, plus demographic trends, if the Democrats can put into place strong protections of the right to vote to prevent (and roll back) GOP voter disenfranchisement schemes, there is a high probability the GOP won't control the House, Senate and White House again for decades (if ever).  Hell, the GOP has only won the popular vote for President ONCE in the last SEVEN elections, so clearly the voters aren't buying what they're selling.

I can't believe they edited the username after the whole situation became public.Iowa & Fraudman were both spotted here just a little while before it took place.

On a related note, this really should have it's own thread. This is bad...

Used to be that Prosper was all about openness and transparency, not track-covering.   :(

Whatever you do,don't lose this link  ;D

http://www.prosper.com/groups/member_screen_names.aspx?alt_key=8F113370067943985374F16

And what makes you think they can't go in and change that, as well?
