This can't be a long planned move. Chris Denend is a highly capable release manager. He's utterly incapable of just about any other management responsibility. If Witchel is not replaced promptly as CTO with a qualified individual, it must mean the VCs have given up on Prosper.
Double daggers on the Notorious Inglis loan today indicating an Aug 20 payment. It doesn't indicate that he's being charged any NSF fees, not sure if that's normal or not.

Didn't Witchel guarantee to make an employee's payments? That's a rather hollow promise at this point...........

That's a rather hollow promise at this point...........If I remember correctly, that was in regards to an employee that was getting a Prosper loan for going to grad school and that while he would be responsible for the loan, Prosper would be reimbursing him for his loan payments. I think there was also a guarantee from Witchel that the loan would absolutely be paid by Prosper (worst case) for as long as the employee was still employed by PMI.
