It would be hard to cover those tracks completely so long as DCS (and others) are on his loan. Hiding it from the forums is one thing...but should they take actions to conceal the status of the loan to people who are actually on it, we have even bigger issues.

Holy shit is right -- no other Prosper user can "remove" their screen name history.  To do that for a Prosper insider (and a corporate officer yet) whose own first loan is delinquent and whose second loan was cancelled under mysterious circumstances is an absolute outrage, even for Prosper.   >:(  :o This is BAD.

What more evidence do people need to finally comprehend the complete lack of moral compass of these people?

And this is what we are getting AFTER John Witchel left?

I am surprised and disappointed that Prosper_Andrew continues to compromise his personal standards by being involved with this outfit.

+1.  I've publicly stated many time before that Andrew is the most competent and most ethical person at Prosper.  But he should watch out -- when you lie with dogs . . . .

Perhaps... the usernames were removed because the "special fraud test" was given away by their being visible?

Or, perhaps they thought this thread was some kind of harassment, and the usernames were removed under those grounds?

The above are the only two semi-reasonable explanations I can think of, although they are more farfetched than the expanation that they are covering up malfeasance...  And the second one really isn't very good, because they've never done it for anyone else...  And I'm not advocating either explanation; neither one sit very well with my logic.

So I guess, I'm now oficially creeped out for the first time.  Not annoyed, peeved, pissed off, and all the other typical Prosper emotions.  This one really is 'creeped out'...




So now what happens?  Do we wait and watch them systematically cover up their tracks?  Do we tell someone?  Who do we tell?

Very very weird.  I always hoped they were just bumblers at heart and not criminals...  Still do hope that...
