I never complain about getting payments!   ;D

Unfortunately, I have other Chap 13's that I have not seen any activity since they filed.

Note that there are some deadlines for creditors to file paperwork as well. Would be interesting to know whether Prosper has filed anything.

Never let it be said that Prosper's Customer Support isn't on the ball. At about the time I wrote the above quote, I sent a note to ask Prosper about my Ch 13 Bk loans.

Guess what arrived in my inbox a couple of hours ago?

I believe that's more information than we ever had on payment schedules for a Ch 13 bankruptcy.

Wouldn't the rule of thumb for Chapter 13 payments be what the trustee said in the lawsuit? Are they really that haphazard to not list out when creditors are to be paid? Since it's a straight percentage, why would any loan get paid over another loan since surely the judge saw the total of what was owned when they ruled on the percentages? And finally, with pennies on the dollar like that, it sure looks like Chapter 13 is almost the new Chapter 7.  :ninja:

(obviously I don't know much about Chapter 13 so excuse my ignorance)

Two points.

1)  Why not TELL US THIS INFORMATION INSTEAD OF MAKING US ASK FOR IT.

2)  It looks like HO is stuck with prosper for the next 5 years....  :ninja:

http://www.prosper.com/lend/listing.aspx?listingID=85616  Collection activity on this loan has been suspended due to Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing by the borrower on Feb-04-2008.  Last payment Jan-07-2008.  Total payments 11.

http://www.prosper.com/lend/listing.aspx?listingID=4217  Collection activity on this loan has been suspended due to Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing by the borrower on Apr-16-2008.  Last payment Mar-07-2008.  Total payments 23.

Both lingering in 4+ late status.
Just got this about 85616

Debt discharged in bankruptcy
The borrower filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on Feb-04-2008, and received a discharge on Apr-22-2005. As a result, the debt has been discharged, and your loan balance has been reduced to $0.00. There is no possibility of receiving any further recoveries on this loan. Read Prosper's bankruptcy policy.
Note that 1.) it was almost 15 months between filing and discharge, and 2.) Prosper thinks it's 2005.

ETA: The loan still shows as 4+ months late in my account.

Would that be considered premature discharge? ;)

Chapter 13 Filed (supposedly) on Jan-17-2007 and not a single structured repayment since (Thus, 19 months with no activity):

http://www.prosper.com/lend/listing.aspx?listingID=35390

http://www.ericscc.com/listings/35390

Now on 27 months with absolutely no activity since the Chapter 13 filing.  No structured repayments made yet and still not listed as discharged.

I just sent them an email about 4582 which was filed in Ch 13 in Oct 07. Nothing received. I also included one that stopped paying 2 years ago but which just filed Ch 13 in March 2009 (4011).

In case anyone is on this loan, after a few weeks of the run-around I got a call today from CS saying that the following is the payment plan on one of my Ch 13 loans. I have yet to get a penny even though it was filed in 2007.

4582 = 8% over 36 months.

Over 28 months now.  I just got off the phone with Cameron and he said he'd look to see if there was any additional information about the loan and will e-mail me when he finds out.
