Might be interesting to take screenshots and compare.


Now that the dust has settled, here's my before and after screenshots for comparison.

13 loans transitioned to Charge-off status.  My account value has dropped somewhat. My net charge-offs  have increased by a similar-looking amount. The remaining +4 loans are all pending BK. All charge-off loans that do not show "discharged in BK" or "sold to debt buyer" are showing "in collections" (for whatever that's worth).

All-in-all I'm pretty OK with the revised accounting. I think it is somewhat more realistic than what we had before. I have a lot of issues and questions that probably never will get any answers about those charge-off loans being "in collections," such as how active they're being collected, what the costs are and so on. And of course, it would be nice if I didn't have to trawl all the loan pages to see how much money is being collected on loans during collections. I can see how much collection fees I've paid, why can't I see how much those fees have generated for me?
