There are a lot of people I would like to meet around here (or WERE around here). Cubbies, LC, TJ, Urbi, Mtnslut, BE, bama, Cushie, griff, xraider, BG, hojo, Trav, Mark#'s, Staneslav, NPX, and Z come to mind. Sadly, there are probably a few people from the old forums that I've just forgotten about.

Oh, I was up in Alpharetta for a week this past summer. Did I forget to mention that? The Mrs and I were there on a romantic getaway. :D

PS: Sorry to hurt your feelings, Jerry. I would love to buy a beer, however, for 15(and counting) of your borrowers.  :ninja:

What's romantic about Alpharetta?
Half-price on a romantic getaway package. That's what I consider romantic.  :)
We were just getting away for awhile, and it (Atlanta)was the nearest big city at the time.

So does anyone think there's going to be a Prosper Days '09?

I think that's not very likely.

If bama's right about PD 2009, I'm in for the auction on leftover pencils.

Classic comment from Urbi to a poster who said they were leaving:

"Once again, we note that your threats are hollow and you come across like a sad, lonely blowhard.

I doubt anyone here gives a shit about you.  We pretty much all know that you are a vile and unethical parasite of a human being with an abnormal craving for attention."

Kinda surprised noone has mention Big Gulp. He was always good for a laugh. I bet he's hysterical in person.

A lot of people in this thread (some of whom I've met, and most of whom I'd like to meet also) have met Gulp (including myself).  He's a nice guy, and he is indeed funny, especially when lenderguy gets him worked up  ;)

What'd I get him all worked up about?  I forgot.  Can't believe those SF trips have been more than a year ago now.

Probably the CB-style comments you made about your relationship with your landlord.   :ninja:
