My two years came and went with no fanfare. No congrats from Prosper, no forum speeches, nothing but the daily checks on .org.

It is a pitty we let the flamers take over the old .com board. I found the old board helpful, friendly and a great place to share knowledge on a wide range of subjects. Some of the original .com posters migrated here, unfortunately, this board has turned into a place where the most innocent remark is dissected with hateful venom.

While there are still a lot of good people with interesting opinions here. The overall feel at .org is pure negativity. Not only at Prosper and its poor performance, but everything in general. For example, a person can comment that "it is a beautiful sunny day today."  You can bet a .org doom and gloomer will point out that global warming is getting worse.  Sometimes I feel I must be a masochist to remain here.

I guess i could be blamed for pushing them into deleting the old board,but in all due respect,it was a matter of time bacause it wouldn't be just me anymore.

What you call flamers,i call disgruntled lenders.

You would probably be considered a flamer now if the board was still active.

I mean, do you see people screaming f*ck plants! in the gardening threads, or computers suck ass! in computer threads, etc ?

and I agree .. it is a nice today. I plan to get some sunshine after work myself
