To be honest I feel a little bad for prosper here. They have to settle with each and every state individually which is a huge pain in the ass. Would make more sense to somehow bring this under federal jurisdiction.

So a $34k fine?  Is that really it?  No fund to pay back misled lenders?

You mean like the national class action that is already pending against Prosper on behalf of lenders over the Securities Laws issues?
