I am seeing comments on Prosper's Facebook page today suggesting lenders awoke this morning to find a drop in their number of active loans and associated gains.

One user, who reports he contacted Prosper's CS department, stated that CS acknowledged receiving "quite a few calls" today regarding this issue.

Is anyone seeing anything funky (or more funky than usual)?

Seems to be an issue with recently originated notes.

I think I found the missing notes! Check your notes that are "PAID" -- my notes that originated on 8/10 - 8/11 are listing as PAID with ZERO received...

FYI, these are the listing id's I found that went missing: 469424, 469025, 469095, 468603, 469329

I don't know why anyone would want to use a financial site that can't keep track of financials correctly.

I don't think it's "not working."  What I mean is, there seems to be a delay in the account transactions, but no delay in the loan status, if that makes sense.  I think we need to question this one a bit more before jumping to conclusions.

The problem is it's something that worked fine before...but after each "maintenance", there seem to be more problems that arise.

Urbi, what I saw yesterday was the total principal of my active notes dropped, without an increase in the cash balance.  12 or more hours later, the cash balance adjusted to match the decrease of principal plus interest; but shouldn't these two totals be interlocked.

It is a little troubling when it is detected.  I suspect many times the amounts are too small to be detected and it is happening more frequently than I am aware.

Don't know. I haven't seen much regarding this item since the error was reported on Prosper's Facebook page back in August - presumably following a maintenance update.
