Starting February 1, you will need to agree to the Prosper Funding LLC Lender Registration Agreement to continue investing in Notes.

I haven't agreed to one of these in years.

I doubt anyone here gives a shit about you.  We pretty much all know that you are a vile and unethical parasite of a human being with an abnormal craving for attention."

Notice that this is Prosper Funding LLC, not Prosper Marketplace Inc. The new entity is legally separate from the old, so that creditors and folks suing the old entity can't get at loans in the name of the new one.

Good thing the individual directors were also sued in the class action.   >:(

Class counsel will need to address this.  Thanks, BB, for bringing it to their attention.

I get the feeling the class action is coming to a conclusion in 2013. It also makes me wonder if there's more VC coming in 2 months.

So glad I sold all my Prosper notes over Nov/Dec, some at a 1% loss and had an overall 14.72% return for the duration I was invested.

I don't have to worry about any of this and if it pans out good I can get right back in but only if I really do own the note.

I think they must be preparing for more funding.  The new VC's probably want to be protected from Prosper's old problems.
