So I guess the quiet period will be over soon?
been like 4 months now, right?

If it happens, I expect April.

Prosper opening totally flew under my radar - but I called it!  Woot Woot!

Unless I missed it, I don't see your account balance listed anywhere.  All I see is your remaining principal balance, without the accrued interest on the active loans.  That makes it impossible to get accurate XIRRs.   >:(
You can have accurate XIRR's. Your XIRR will just not reflect accrued, but unpaid, interest. Think of it like a CD; once a month your value updates with accrued interest compounded in to your balance. The list of bad loans in your XIRR document must include only outstanding principal. Essentially, this is a more accurate XIRR, because it reflects only interest earned that you have actually recieved not accrued.

Yes, but it makes the XIRR jump around from day to day, for no good reason.  Accrued interest (at least on current loans) should be included in the account balance.

agreed, I don't want a moving target.  what they had before worked fine.  I have no idea what many of these rows actually represent anyway, with their silly titles.

The XIRR based on the new way can stay steady for days, and then jump when a payment goes through. The way they had it before, with accrued interest, allowed for a more fluid XIRR from day to day. I agree, it was easier to keep track of your XIRR before.

I am seeing several active listings with HR credit scores.  What gives?

There are also listings that aren't labeled as HR but have <620 credit scores. Some a lot less than 620

Your looking at the Prosper Rating.

Mouse over it to read the real joke.

Looks like they changed all the loan numbers as well.

If you go to your account activity, they still list the loan ID's from the old system, but if you click you get hit with a

message.

Now I've got to add a bunch of new numbers to my spreadsheet... assholes.

I spent several hours adding a bunch of new features to my Excel workbook so that I can track accrued interest for my daily XIRR.

With the loss of the daggers, tracking which loans have initiated payments is more difficult.

I noticed:

1:  14 days allowed for a listing to run.
2:  Credit score of at least 640 required to run a listing.

-BigCowboy

640 may be the minimum to run a listing, but the car notes for sale run well below that...

I haven't had more than a couple of minutes to look, but the second one I clicked was a 500-520 score... (but identified as a "D")

I'd like to know WTF is up with that...  Why is a car note from a 500 score all right, but a borrower at 630 isn't?

Crap, they are back to a $25 minimum to transfer out.

 >:(

I initiated a transfer for less than $25 and it appears to be working.

Not for Californians, regardless of whether or not they signed the new lender agreement.

How do we know that CPS isn't lying & saying these loans are current just so they can cash out?
