The website is working on my side of things. I have been doing more research on this forum and finding some things that I had not found before. I guess the research was not up to par and Prosper has done a good job at trying to knock down some of the negative things. We have a few other reviews planned that we have to get done in the next few days but we have decided that our review of Prosper.com needs a revision as I don't want to mislead potential borrowers or lenders who may see our review. I again appreciate all of the feedback on the article and please continue to leave comments on the page with your views. I will let you know once we have revised the review to show a few other sides and opinions that I have seen expressed and have had emailed. Feel free to send us email with any experiences with Prosper.com good or bad to info

What exactly is good about Prosper(in your eyes) besides being good for borrowers?

It damn sure sucks for the lenders.Although some are too blinded by glowing reviews & misleading ads from people like you & the Prosper pimp machine.

Thanks for the feedback on the review it helps us in the future. We did research, read customer reviews, and tried out the system ourselves quickly but it seems we may not have done enough research as we are getting a lot of feedback now. This is the reason we are very open moderation wise and encourage comments on our reviews as we are just one opinion and voice on the matter. Our website is very new at this point and we hope to work out the kinks as we go on. Also I wanted to make a point that we are not paid for any reviews and no one in our company has had any contact with Prosper or have them as a client. The website is small right now but we hope to keep improving our reviews and keep our comments section open so others can voice their opinions. Feel free to add comments to the review and we will get them approved as soon as we can. Thanks again.

Curious as to how your web site fits in with the corporate positining as an online reputation cleanser, yet you claim to be doing independent (and positive) reviews for non-clients?

Businessraid, as you can see by reading the threads here, we have serious concerns about the press distributing "press release" information without checking the issues.

Is there any way we can still read your 6/4/09 blog entry entitled "Protecting Your Company In Local Search"?
I gather it has to do with, "preventing negative media\reviews\etc from being viewable via search engines and other media outlets," to quote a part of somebody else's definition of "online reputation management".

I kinda wish you had given a direct answer to my question about where you found those "customer reviews"....?

The reviews of prosper were found using the search engines and reading articles written about prosper. We do run a company that protects reputations but we do not represent Prosper.com as a client. The review was done because of an article I read about Prosper.com and thought it may be interesting to write about. I guess our review seems to be a little off and I think I have made that known in this thread. The new review will actually be a more negative toned review as I have found other articles searching this website that I wish I would have found before. Our reputation company is smarter than to write client reviews especially in this day of transparency. I think I have been more than fair keeping up with this thread and hope to make the new review reflect the views of the people as a whole instead of the few customer reviews I read. I look to receive more information and hear more stories about your experience with Prosper.com to help with the review. I have edited the review already to not mislead any others who may be reading the review and thinking about using Prosper. I am keeping the comments section open on the page and I am going to try to get a new review done soon.

Read his glowing review of lifelock.. Funny considering the "few" times the guys ID was stolen.. At last count over 3000 people had stolen it.

Ok.  Let's see what you can come up with.  Fred93 has a blog you may find of some interest.
