Officially Saying Hello
« on: January 10, 2010, 01:20:24 am »

I've already made a few posts venting about prosper.  I thought I would officially say hi.  I really believe in the P2P lending tool.  It seemed like it could of worked so well.  The problem is the information is imperfect.  Lenders have no clue if borrowers are telling the truth.  It feels almost like ninja loans.  Pretty sad really. :-\

Hiya, BV.
With a few rare exceptions, the whole P2P aspect of the loans don't mean much, imo.  Borrowers simply drop out of sight when their payments are late.  So what good is P2P then?

I don't believe all delinquent borrowers deceived lenders.  But I do think many deceived themselves.
