Doug may have walked in being dealt a pretty shitty hand to start with.  But he talked a hell of a lot of smack about how good he was.  I think the most disappointing thing about people who talk big is when they just can't deliver.  I don't know all of Prosper's internal politics, but ended up failing pretty hard.

That was an even bigger failure.  I can't believe Shira allowed him to make all of those grand promises and talk up his record like he did.  Had Doug shot in the middle and made some progress that would have been better.

If you think THOSE were grand promises, you obviously missed  out on the telephone seminars where Shira and Karen were educating lenders as to how to use ScoreX to price loans.
