We're sort of already discussing these issues in the lobby.

My preference would be to continue the chat in this thread:

I think it's fine for this thread to go into The Lobby.

Odds of hitting $3M? Slim, but could happen.
Odds of 3 mil are much improved with the new funding rules...

Month-to-date: $ 2,543,774 (as of 12/23/10)

1   $  61,500 (predictably limp, considering the back-loading we observed yesterday)
2   $ 110,575
3   $ 108,700
6   $ 139,350
7   $ 115,900
8   $ 186,450
9   $ 152,050
10 $ 141,500
13 $ 147,100
14 $ 194,013
15 $ 146,700
16 $ 194,800
17 $ 124,136
19 (New platform structure deployed this weekend)
20 $ 127,800
21 $ 301,000
22 $ 157,700
23 $ 134,500

Urbi - how are you working out these numbers so quickly?

I'm assuming the performance data from P.com itself.

With 5 days to go and only one day this month under $100K, looks like $3M is not out of the question. Now, the lone problem may be the supply of listings.

This is going to be the problem and it could be a huge one. As of right now there are 45 loans available and just ONE loan with a rating higher than D. Yikes.

On LC for comparison there are 375, including 150 A rated loans.

Since listings disappear once funded, I went back and added a loan count, so we could get a better view of the impact of the 4.0 roll-out.

So far, I am not seeing any signs of a major up-tick, but I suspect many of the loans funded in the last week are still in review or have been delayed a bit, due to the holidays.

I am not seeing any new listings appearing in the AA-C categories at all ... been checking quite regularly.

Clearly Prosper shouldn't take down funded listings, but rather leave them up for a day or two so that they can recruit new lenders.

That seems a little like having a bunch of sold cars still on the dealership lot. Here's what you can't buy...

BTW, 19 new listings as of 11:00 am PST, 32 in total. Of the 19:

3 - AA
0 - A
1 - B
3 - C
9 - D
3 - E
