Better get that $2 million on the board before the bank holidays start piling up.

It's the Christmas rush.  Get a 3 year loan to pay for this Christmas season like it's the last one.

Odds of hitting $3M? Slim, but could happen.

I suppose the question is how much holiday-related closures and bank holidays will impact business during the last two weeks of the year.

I imagine there will be at least one more bidding cashback promo day before the end of the month. Any listings around Christmas will just be moved to the 23rd or 27th. And a $200K day on the 30th. If no new listings on the 24th, then no issue being "closed" on the 31st. Except for open listings (from the 27th-30th) possibly ending early...

With all listings now ending as they fund, I'd expect to see a large boost to Dec originations during the last week or two as those  in the pipeline get moved forward.

Yes, I would not be surprised to see a significant increase in originations in the coming months.

I would also expect to see more borrowers try for larger amounts.

Sure -- may as well shoot for the moon if you're going to get whatever is bid anyway.  The only risk is that too large a loan will decrease your Prosper score, so will raise your rate and decrease the bidding.  But I'm sure borrowers will quickly figure out the "sweet spots."

Also, those that aren't going to pay it back aren't going to care about the rate.
