Im seeing the 250sh in my Fidelity account and a debit balance of $3750.  So that pretty clearly means I got the $15 price.

My advice.. Offer it for sale at $30.. Then buy it back after a dip... It may pop that high today

I also got 250 from my 350 request.

I disagree with selling now... I think there will be continuing demand for a while.

If you did not enable Margin trading on the Fidelity account, selling the securities before the settlement date (December 16th) might not be allowed, or at least could annoy them.

Personally I didnt go for the full 350, and got 150 of 200 requested.  Still Im happy with the result.

Down to $23.. IPOs normally tend to tank right after the IPO & then recover.. IIRC Facebook went from $39 to about half that before recovering.

Before the IPO I called Fidelity about that very question.  They told me we can sell the stock whenever we want, as long as payment is made by settlement.

So you could have sold the stock the moment it started trading and been fine, so long as you put 150 x $15 = $2250 of "new" money (i.e. the sales proceeds dont count) into the account by settlement day.

Thats interesting that they are allowing that because brokers often see selling a stock before settlement as taking a temporary "short" position (selling stock you dont own) and want to charge you interest until the settlement date.

I sold my 250 shares for $27.50. Nothing wrong with the company per se, but I dont have a good idea what an appropriate valuation for it should be, so Im not too comfortable keeping the position. I was just happy to be on the right side of an IPO for once and to make a nearly instant 83% return.

Also, it turns out Fidelitys site is terrible and even if I did keep the stock Id rather have it in a different account. ::)

Seems to have reached a peak and been going down a bit for the last few days. Not uncommon for an IPO.

Price seems to be settling somewhere around $18-$19 range for time being. Closed at $19.26 today. Well below peak but above initial price.

I recently heard or read a story that LC is going to be working with Alibaba to provide financing for American buyers to purchase from Chinese suppliers.

If that works out, I would guess it will be a great thing for LC.

I wonder if the borrowers will be as fake as the goods theyll be buying.
