Can you tell how many posts and topics didn't pass the moderators on .com?   :ninja:

So, after insuinating to over 2000 lenders that prospers.org was full of password phishers and hackers, and that their very lives were in peril by visiting this place, prospers.org is now the de facto Prosper.com forum  Many of those same lenders who received warnings have now become regulars here.

Note to VC bigwigs:

1) What kind of sense does this make, to chase your most dedicated customers away, out of mere pique?

2) If you're looking for a place to invest all that cash, there's a lot of smart people in here...

Makes a lot of sense. An informed lender is a former lender.

They believe they can do better by shoveling in new lenders faster than they learn about PMI problems.  Think about it.. they want a repeat of the 2006-2007 enthusiasm we all showed, back when there was nothing known about the loan performance or the company itself.  The only way that's possible is to make the past go away.

Oh, I realize what their rationale is...

But sense?  It ultimately makes none.  It was a gambit that is already well on its way to backfiring in their faces.  They neglected to consider what the posts said and who was saying it for so long, their blanket action makes them look a lot more suspect to the casual websurfing newbie...  For a lot of us, it was the forums -with all their negativity- that convinced us to join in the first place.
