that's no surprise. it's their site though. they can play these games if they want to.
True enough.
This was my email to support after I was banned for a subversive profile:
I'm sorry to hear that Prosper is no longer interested in retaining me as a customer.
As part of your suspension process, you have changed my Member Summary page to read:
"This member has not added a description."
This statement is factually incorrect. I have added a description several times. The description has been deleted by Prosper, which is obviously very different from not having added a description.
I am requesting that you modify the verbiage on my Member Summary page to accurately reflect the truth, or that you no longer make this page publicly available on the internet.
Thank you in advance for correcting this oversight,
[PII]
No response. No change to the profile. No surprise.
It bugs me that they are posting a lie on my member page. I never authorized Prosper to lie on my behalf. Maybe I should go report my profile? Wonder if the banned can do that?
I believe you can, because I have reported a listing since being banned (by my 2 month late $24K B borrower with 14% DTI who didn't bother making even his very first payment). Obviously fraud, but doubtful Prosper will do crap unless it becomes obvious it was ID-theft.
Even if you report your profile, however, Prosper will still just ignore you.
