I've been a lurker for a while now (about a month) and decided to jump in on this board and communicate with the locals.  I thorougly scoured these boards before attempting any P2P lending, so I appreciate everybody who took time to share their experiences and knowledge.

I am starting slow in the P2P lending world, but with rates getting higher on Prosper loans, I have a small amount of investment money that I'm willing to risk to capitalize on this.  I just have to hope my "system" works and Prosper's around in 3 years.

What is your experience in P2P lending?
Prosper is it -- I've got 2.1 loans out there...soon to be funding a few more.

How did you end up at Prospers.org?
Googled Prosper to learn as much as I could.  It found some threads over here.

Welcome! What's the one-tenth of a loan?

Only an Aggie could have a one-tenth loan. :)

It's actually .2 (one fifth) -- (go ahead with the Aggie math jokes).  I was partially outbid on a $50 loan, so only $10.00 of it funded.  So, I have a $10 loan floating out there...  If I have to have a loan default -- I hope it's that one. :)
