Unfortunately, I wont be able to attend.  We're attending a wedding in Chicago.  However, this does mean I should be able to catch some Cubs postseason in Chicagoland...  :D

How can you be optimistic about the cubs and not prosper?

1)  The Cubs have had periods of success in their past, Prosper hasn't.
2)  The Cubs have highly qualified and experienced people within their organization, Prosper doesn't.
3)  The Cubs have a nicer headquarters
4)  The Cubs have a worldwide fan base that are rabidly devoted to their team, Prosper has a couple paid socks and marketing puff.
5)  The Cubs are having a great year beating their opponents.  Prosper has yet to get a decision against theirs.
6)  The Cubs partnered with a Japanese player and have gotten good results.  Prosper hasn't done anything with their Japanese partnership.
7)  The Cubs have enjoyed good pitching all year.  So far, all of Prosper's pitches this year have failed.
8)  The Cubs have yet to lie to me.  I wish I could say the same about Prosper.

People still buy season tickets to see the Cubs, expecting the team to still be around at the end of the season.

Hi everyone, haven't been able to be around much lately.  Sometimes life just shows up and knocks you for a loop when you're not looking.

The meet & greet is just under a month away!  For those of you flying in, send me your flight info and I will make sure you are met at the airport if needed.  Also, for those of you who are coming in early or staying a little longer, let me know if there are any special tours or sights you want to see and I will help make any arrangements you might need.

I have forwarded payment for the activities next weekend. We would not miss it for anything.

Regarding the Cubs. I wish them the best on this 100 year anniversary, but with being at 0 - 2 they are not looking very favorable right now. As a Yankees fan, maybe they can repeat what the Yankees did in 2004.

I really wanted to come but my mom is in town and she is flying out that Sunday. I would have loved to see vsqueen, Gog (I still have not replaced my battery...) Lep, Shen and all the others I met in SF  :(

If you knew anything at all ,you would know Gog is one of the biggest Prosper supporters still left.
