It looks to me like the legend at the bottom of the chart doesn't match the labels on the x-axis.  Am I missing something?

Can you also post the graph where you shift the lines to the same starting point?  I like that one as well.

They match.
Look at the latest, for example (the orange with little triangles on it).
Those were loans made in November '07.  Since the graph charts loans that are 1 month late or more, that is not possible until January '08 (they go late in December '07, turn 1 month late in January '08), so the earliest point for any group of loans will be 2 months after they were made.

A loan can't be 1 month late until it is 2 months old.
