It's a fun place, you can learn a lot, but don't just take everything we say at face value cause where's the fun in that?

I used to own a sewing factory.I still miss it sometimes.

I grew up around sewing & upholstering.

When you fly,you sit on covers my mom designed in 1980 & sold the rights to Delta.

That's great!  I was just watching "How it's Made" on Discovery about how parkas are made in giant sewing factories.  It looked pretty cool how everything looks like my machine at home, just on a GIGANTO scale.

That's cool about your mom.  I'll sing her praises when I'm enroute (for the 900th time) back to Jacksonville next week.  :)

ANd dearest Dilpickle... My apologies for hijacking your thread.  I like pickles, too.  Hope that makes up for it.  :)

The one and only time I visited IRC, someone told me to push a combination of buttons that subsequently shut down all my open windows.

Boooo!

No fault of my own, of course.  I'm as gullible as they come.  (Which helps when I'm singing in the "I don't get it?" choir.)

Lastly, I don't like brisket.  Call me when there's another sewing lesson.  :)
