Hard to believe it was a year ago.  A year ago yesterday I still believed in Prosper and that they would do the right thing.  How much has changed in one year.  Thank goodness we have .org.

Indeed.  The sad thing is that even after Black Friday, Prosper could have fixed its relationship with lenders.  Unfortunately, it chose instead (as has often been said about Yasser Arafat) to "miss no opportunity to miss an opportunity."  What a waste.

Ah one year ago.

I was still lending, and planning to launch my group.

I had just met about half of the top 20 posters at Prosper Days...

I was off my February Kool-aid high, but was still optimistic.

And then it all came down...

I remember seeing dormant 2mils threads being mysteriously locked, one right after another...

Things never were the same again.  Once this happened, I knew it wouldn't be long before I'd have to give up the new little world I had come to love...  *sniff*
