New features at LendingStats
« on: May 02, 2008, 01:08:12 pm »

I noticed LendingStats recently released an updated version - with some tweaks and new features.

One of the features I found particularly interesting was the new individual portfolio delinquency chart.

For my own part, it appears that the extended credit info introduced at PD07 did indeed have a positive effect.

Yes - and my volume slowed down a bit.  While they're younger (and I began to focus more on prime-grade loans - as a result of the new credit data, along with the terrible aging-data), it still appears to me that I was able to pick less risky loans since PD07.  No delinquencies on loans originated for almost an entire year.  That's certainly aging better than was the case the previous year with a 12-month view - and certainly better than the aging of the overall Prosper portfolio.

Like many others here, my problem with Prosper is more related to the management than it is about the performance of my personal portfolio.

How come I don't have Aug or Sept 2006 listed on my charts?  WTF?

Neat stuff! I'm not sure how he does the extended credit features without violating Prosper's EULA for the API though.

I have a bunch of similar extended credit type things that I want to add to ericscc.com, but haven't yet because of the API user agreement forbidding display of row-level extended credit data to non-Prosper lenders.

Looks like it only includes months in which you have current loans.  Your only loans for Aug and Sep 2006 (and Nov 2007, for that matter) are either paid, late, or defaulted.  I'd say this is a bug, albeit a pretty minor one....

Mine is similar, but isn't that because the 4+ lates haven't been sold yet?

If I understood correctly, delinquencies would include lates - and not just official defaults.

Did I understand it correctly?

That would be the customary meaning of "delinquency" . . .
