But they have already done something:

JW said it is a question of resources; they have none.

Moreover, they instituted the totally awesome fraud and security team who spot all the problems prior to funding.

Furthermore, they hired a hot-shot call analyst/collections dude, Doug Fuller. He even filled out some kind of legal form and took it to a few courts.

With all the moaning about default and collections, one would think lenders are entitled to have their money back or something. That isn't in the Prosper game plan.

Back in the days when P------r admitted the number of defaults they have.........With all the 4+ lates sitting there not being sold, I'm damn glad I'm not a new lender thinking the stats are a LOT better than we all know they are.

There are -- but there are also a lot more originations now than there were back in the day.  As a percentage, I would guess that it was worse back when they had a debt sale once a year or so.
