I recently was notified that my listing was cancelled and when I logged into get into my account, I have the nice notification at the top that I was suspended.

I would assume that the suspension was for posting this listing.

How do you know how long your suspension lasts?  I was notified that my listing was cancelled from this:

We have cancelled your listing, and we are unable to provide you with the loan you requested, for the following reason(s):
You violated the content policy of Prosper Marketplace.
You should re-list as soon as:
You review the content policies of Prosper Marketplace and ensure that you are not in violation. Continued or future violation of our policies will result in a suspension or a termination of your account.

But Prosper never actually told me that my account was suspended or for how long it was.  I did not plan to lend again via Prosper and can't since I am in a non-lending state but it is a little liberating to know that you pissed someone off enough that they suspended your account.

As a lender/borrower on Prosper, I lost money and I might as well get something out of this relationship besides some more defaults that I will likely get from my loan portfolio in the future.

Thanks and I completely agree.

My logic was that Prosper bonus = $100, listing fee= $5 which would equal about $95 for about 15 minutes of time and heck if it would get a few people from continuing to invest in Prosper, so be it.

Quite honestly, come next year who knows if Prosper will actually be around anyways.

For kicks, you should call them up and ask them exactly what provision of the content policy your listing supposedly violated.
