Another funny thing...on the "fake" (or cached) listing page, there are 25 listings. Click on "live listings", they're could be considerably fewer. (As of now, there are 23, earlier today there was 16.)

I can't wait for the day when the # of live ones is 0.

Does Prosper have 5 year loans now?

That middle loan shows 5 years:

I see the "idea" of what they've done but the result is just so sloppy. It's as if no one really thinks things through.

Why, on Prosper 4.0, would they display a listing that has been 100% funded?

there should be a giant disclaimer that the image shown is for illustration only
Good idea, that's what they should have done. But it doesn't have to be giant, just obvious.

I don't know why they just don't use real, current listings. Pick 3 random ones, swap them out every refresh, done deal. The listings don't last long enough for anyone to cry their listing about being promoted or not. Or if they insist on using the old crap, maybe take away the look and feel of a live page. It's an image, so lose the links (or link structure).

Imagine if they showed a screen capture of your account balance (at one time). Hey, you have $46 in your account...Or worse, showed a capture of someone else's balance (no name, just the financial summary).

There are 6 listings on Eric's CC with the title "Becoming Debt-free" none of which actually became a loan (borrowing money to become debt-free?).

None of them were for an $8000 loan amount.

The other listings are also apparently fabricated or modified; Eric's does not show any listings with these titles for the given loan amounts.

ETA: Image now captured and hosted off-Prosper as per Fred's suggestion on the next post.

You guys should grab that image and host it, rather than linking back to prosper.  They will soon remove that file, and destroy the evidence.

Bored, NA?

Ladeeda, in the litigious paranoia category (quoting from NA's link) of current Prosper issues that really bother me, I've tried several times to get information from Prosper on the status of 2 of my chargeoffs who filed ch 13 more than two years ago each.  There have been no payments, no updates and no status changes.  I emailed last week, sent a reminder, then got an email yesterday morning saying he'd get back to me later that day.  Nothing.  Any thoughts?  It bothers me that Prosper can't be bothered to update on these bks, which, unlike ch7s, aren't automatic flushes.

Thanks.

Why, on Prosper 4.0, would they display a listing that has been 100% funded?

If you go to Invest->Browse Listings, there are some 100% funded loans listed.
They all show as "Ended" if you click on them.  But they're there nonetheless.

You have to select View All Listings or actually search for something to get rid of the 100% funded loans.
