Blast from the past - JessM
« on: April 15, 2008, 02:58:05 pm »

This piece is recent (dated March 27, 2008), stating that Jessica Wolcott is now serving 21 months in federal prison.

IMO, she got off VERY easy.

I'm really bored, so I decided to check up on our favorite sextortionist:

Conjugal Visits: General Information

This page provides basic information about visiting. It does not cover every situation. For the official regulations, see Program Statement (P.S.) 5267.07, Visiting Regulations.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons does not permit conjugal visits.

I suspect business is down.

After JessM was turned down by Prosper lenders 6 times, her "mother" applied for a loan.  "Mother" had excellent credit, rather than crappo like daughter.

On the 3rd try, her loan was funded.  She borrowed $20,000 rather than the $10,000 JessM had been trying to borrow.

An probably knowledgeable source once told me that the "Mother" was really JessM having stolen her mom's identity.  Prosper, of course, officially doesn't talk about such things, so there's no way to know.  The largest lender on "mom's" loan is "anton", in for $5,150.  Anton is widely believed to be the screen name of Chris Larsen, Prosper's founder.

This is also the loan where Prosper, following the persistent nudgings by lenders, announced that they had conducted a thorough review of the borrower and declared that there was nothing fishy about the loan.

Chris Larsen (whose middle name is Anton) did indeed take a chunk out of this loan late in the game.
